Origin: Europe to Kashmir: mountain forests.
Special Features: The most valuable of the tall bell flowers. Preferred fertile, neutral to calcareous soils. With sufficient moisture CAMPANULA latifolia var. macrantha can also be used in a sunny spot. Very nice, large bells. The flowers are darker and larger than the species.
