Plant Description

Special Features: Large-flowered selection in bright blue-violet with a bright yellow eye. Sisyrinchium is an excellent, but rarely used garden and pot plant. Vigorous and easy to grow from seeds, but still something very valuable. Ideal for the border, the rock garden or a trough, 'Moody Blues' can be used as solitary pot plant, in small groups or a large area plantings.
Historical: Introduced by JELITTO PERENNIAL SEEDS in 2020.

(16) See 15 with the exception of germination being slower and more irregular. This poses no problems.

(15) Rapidly germinating, keep seed in constant moisture (not wet) with temperatures of about +20°C [68°F]. Seeds must be covered thinly. Do not cover very small seeds, but tightly press into the earth. Keep in cooler conditions after germination occurs.

Sowing Time Hint: Spring for first year flowering, summer for overwinter crop. All year long if frost-free.
