Special Features: Ideal selection for hanging over walls or crevices. Dense carpets with clusters of pink flowers. Plant together with other hanging plants.
Historical: A related species, Saponaria officinalis, produces a sticky substance (Saponin), resembling soap, hence the common name, soapwort.
