Plant Description

Life Cycle: Perennial
Family: Polemoniaceae
Origin: Cultivar. North Japan, Hokkaido: open, moist forest, roadsides in the mountains.
Special Features: Very attractive reddish-purple pinnate foliage from late winter to early summer. The foliage combines beautifully with other leaf and flower colors. Large flowers. Variable. Reblooms after dead-heading.
Historical: Introduced by JELITTO PERENNIAL SEEDS in 2006.
