Special Features: Unusual and seldom cultivated rarity from the Alps. Prefers very dry, calcareous locations. Showy fruits, bright red berries in autumn. A warm, very dry and competitive free location in the drywall, alpinum or rock garden is preferred.
Historical: Cultivation only permitted as an ornamental plant, other uses require approval.

(15) Rapidly germinating, keep seed in constant moisture (not wet) with temperatures of about +20°C [68°F]. Seeds must be covered thinly. Do not cover very small seeds, but tightly press into the earth. Keep in cooler conditions after germination occurs.
