Origin: Cultivar. Species grows in Central Europe, Northeastern Alps: montain meadows, stony slopes and screes.
Special Features: Large flowerheads. Perhaps the most beautiful of all compact bluebells, impresses with the deep blue violet color and the particular shape of the flowers. Short runners. Best in container, rock garden and troughs. Needs lime.
